| Antique crib quilt measuring 35 by 46 inches, circa 1880. There are 20 hand pieced fox and geese blocks set on point, alternating with a double pink print. The flying geese border measure 2.25 inches wide. Binding is half inch, on grain, applied by hand. It is hand quilted at a primitive 5 spi. The backing is a white cotton, knots from the quilting can be seen on the back. In very good condition, one small hole on the back by the binding. |
