This antique quilt is circa 1860s. Measures 67"x93". 35 7.25"x7.25" Lemoyne Star Blocks are sashed in a lattice like design. The lattice measures 1.25" wide and is hand appliqued. The pink sashing measures 3.25" wide. No borders. Bound in pink print, backed in a solid pink. No holes or tears or split seams, but the back has some large discolored areas (do not come through to the front though), and there are several small black marks on the quilt...old ink, maybe? I have been able to identify one print from Eileen Trestain's "Dating Fabrics" book as from 1830-1860 and the green lattice print from 1860-1880. The cheddar orange color was typical of 1860-1880 as well. Hand quilted 8 spi (stitches per inch). Free US Insured Shipping with Delivery Confirmation.
