Antique quilt, circa 1910, in Robbing Peter to Pay Paul pattern. It measures 62 by 85 inches. The fabrics used are a double pink, an indigo with small white flowers or stars on top and an Oriental influenced print on the back. The backing fabric comes to the front to bind the quilt, and was applied by hand. It is also hand pieced and hand quilted at 7 spi. It is quilted by the piece, in an X design in the center of each block and on the diagonal along the border. The border is 3 inches wide. It is in very good condition with one spot. Cotton batting is not thin, has a little loft to it.
