| Vintage Crazy Quilt piece, probably cut from a larger piece. It measures 21"x38". Mostly wools, in very good condition. Lots of hand embroidery along the seems in various color threads. It was pieced on a foundation and tied with blue yarn to the pretty cotton floral backing. The backing is folded over along one side and machine stitched. The backing is circa 1930s, so that is how I am dating this piece. |
