Description
Antique US Army military uniform button. Approximately 7/8". Very rounded button. Officer, General Staff type. 24 stars around the circumference. The American Eagle is in the center with a shield on his breast, lined field. Holding 4 arrows in it's right talon and grain in the other. 7 stars on on its center shield. Backmark: Goodwin Pat July 27 1875. Two piece construction with a rim holding the pieces together. Similiar to GS13C in Albert's. Condition is good, lightly worn and a few scratches.
