Vintage circa 1930s quilt measuring 70 by 78 inches. The pattern is a Postage Stamp pattern. There are 30 blocks, each composed of 1.5 inch squares and it appears to be entirely hand pieced. The hand quilting is 7-8 spi. I love the green fabrics in this quilt. It is a charming quilt, full of nostalgia.
It is in fair condition, but easily fixed. The binding is completely frayed, and there are two blocks with a red and black fabric where the fabric is deteriorating. A small amount of restoration work can bring this quilt back to it’s glory.
