Vintage Amish Blockwork quilt measuring 49 by 62 inches.  The top is made of grey, purple, taupe, and beige wool fabrics.  A large center rectangle, surrounded by several borders, and cornerstones.  Each seam is hand embroidered is a feather stitch, mostly is a pink and green variegated thread, but a small amount of green and red as well.  The backing and binding is a hot pink polyester, so I am dating this quilt to Circa 1960.  It is machine pieced and hand quilted at 8 spi with wave like motifs and leaves in each corner.  In excellent condition.
