Vintage 1930s quilt from the Ruby McKim Flower Garden Embroidery patterns.  The quilt measures 72 inches by 72 inches. 

The 25 embroidered blocks are on a bright orange fabric, each 8 inches square.  They are set with 25 alternating bright pink blocks.  The border is 8 inches wide and has a quaint white picket fence.  Notice the green grass and blue sky behind the fence…a nice detail! 

The quilt was hand pieced and is hand quilted at 6 spi and the white binding is hand applied as well.  The hand quilting goes around each embroidered motif, and there is a flower motif in the pink blocks.  Please note, the pink color is more accurate in the distant shots, the close ups pictures make the fabric look purple. 

Condition is good.  A few seams need to be re-stitched, and there looks like a water stain in one corner that might soak out once the necessary mending is complete.
