Description
Vintage silk fabric by Scalamandre. Probably circa 1950s. The piece measures 80 by 92 inches, with a seam down the center. This was probably a drape or covering for a window at one time. Off white ground with taupe and thin mint green strip with very realistic flower bouquets. Flowers are yellow and lavender with peach stems and leaves and green ribbon. You can read the selvage edge that states this a Scalamandre Hand Printed fabric, called Summer Carnival. In very good condition, no holes or splits, a scuff mark or small spot…just not pristine.
